STORY

Pruett Farms is located east of San Francisco in the heart of the Livermore Valley and has quite a rich history.   The winery and house were built in 1881.  Yes, 140 years ago – before home-electricity, internal plumbing, the San Francisco Earthquake and, most dreadfully, Prohibition!

Winemaking is an opportunity for we mortals to engage in this gift from the gods.  Out of respect for this hallowed art, our passion is to make small lot wines with an impeccable level attention to every aspect of the wine making process.
