About the event

Join us for an exclusive culinary experience featuring renowned winemaker and chef Julie Schreiber, who will demonstrate the art of cooking with fresh, dried, wild, and foraged mushrooms perfectly paired with complementary wines. Learn expert techniques for preparing various mushroom varieties while discovering how their earthy, complex flavors enhance wine appreciation. During this interactive demonstration, you'll explore the fascinating differences between truffles and mushrooms, sample thoughtfully prepared light fare.


The unique food will be complimented by several wines from Pruett Farms. Bob Pruett, owner/winemaker, will describe the winemaking process and the decisions that drive style and pairing options of several Chardonnays (including a hand-made sparkler) plus a GSM red blend. Together we will "disgorge" the welcome Estate Chardonnay sparkler.
